Trademark Policy

This document describes practical branding boundaries. It is not final legal text.

Code vs Trademark

Project code can be used according to the project licence. The project name, official branding, logos, and official marketplace identity are separate from code usage.

Official Branding

Official branding should be used only for official project repositories, releases, documentation, services, and approved official marketplace listings.

Unofficial Forks

Forks may exist under the licence terms, but should clearly identify themselves as unofficial when they are not maintained by the official project.

Unofficial forks should not imply official support, use fake official branding, present themselves as the official release line, or confuse users about origin, maintenance, or support responsibility.

Reseller Restrictions

Resellers and agencies should not sell the free core as if they own the official project or official brand.

Allowed services can include installation, customisation, support, hosting, training, or maintenance. Those services should be described as services around the project, not ownership of the official project.

Practical Rule

Use the code freely under the licence. Do not misuse the project identity.
